Misc. File Type Support (Uploads misc content type)

Please add support for uploading more file types (or even better -- remove the file type selection altogether and allow any file) for the following extensions: .js and .xml

    Our team will be adding a laundry list of file extensions to our whitelist in November including those listed here (although you should already be able to upload zip files). Stay tuned! We did discuss the possibility internally of remove any validation however there are implications to that which are bigger than it sounds so for at least the short term in order to resolve some of these long-standing file type requests we'll be enhancing our existing functionality.

    Agreed. We'd also love to have Maya .IFF files supported for our 3D Animation course.

    Agreed on this because are also having issues with allowing kids to upload files for the coursework.
