On video upload page, show an error message if someone tries to upload a .mov file.

Apparently, .mov files cannot be added to Video Content Types. This is problematic because this is a very common file type for anyone using iPhones. More problematic is that if someone tries to upload a .mov file, they do not see an error message. The file just appears to be processing forever.

1. Add an error message if someone tries to upload a .mov file. Other content types have error messages if you try to upload the wrong file type.

OR

2. Currently, on the upload tool, there is the below helpful note. Could you add to it that .mov files are not permitted?

"*The total size of all files can not exceed 1GB. You will receive a page error if you exceed this limit."

Thanks!

Is the .mov file type for class pages disabled again? According to Support, it is; I found one article in KB saying it was supported, and one saying it was not ...

    Hello Tenley,

We recently enabled the .mov files again and we know it is causing some machinate issues on your side.  This is the reason it was disabled previously.  We are working on updating this soon and it should address both of your points above.  I linked this idea to the feature we are working on.
