Notification Approval Needed for Conduct

The conduct notification only goes out after the conduct has been approved. We want the Conduct Manager to be alerted that there is an infraction awaiting approval, so it can be addressed quickly. The only infractions that need approval are the serious ones, and the conduct manager should be alerted about those immediately, but now our teachers have to email him separately and create an infraction. It would be great if by only creating the infraction, they knew the conduct manager was alerted to the issue.

Please implement this as soon as possible. Our Conduct Manager needs to know that there are infractions waiting for approval.

I would like to see this feature implemented sooner rather than later. I'll echo what Karin said: "Infractions requiring approval usually require VERY TIMELY follow up. If the Conduct Manager does not know it's there, then in essence there is no follow up at all and everybody (parent, student, other teachers) is left confused and uninformed."

The "Official Notes" notification bell at the top right corner should be renamed to "Notifications", and expand functionality to see notifications and alerts for conduct, attendance, etc.

This idea was posted over seven years ago. There have been a number of similar posts since this one. I up-voted and will echo what others have already said: Infractions requiring approval usually require VERY TIMELY follow up. If the Conduct Manager does not know it's there, then in essence there is no follow up at all and everybody (parent, student, other teachers) is left confused and uninformed. On the Official Notes side, we use the concept of a "monitoring team." We need something similar for Conduct. The notification does not need to include the entire infraction but instead merely alert the user to sign in and check, along the lines of "There is an infraction that requires your immediate attention."

This is essential for our team in order for Conduct to function appropriately.

This is an important function to add as an administrator.

    This is an absolute necessity.

This is an essential notification! Just like when I receive an email about when a contract is returned we should be able to receive notifications when an infraction has been submitted.

Receiving an email when an infraction requires approval is essential. Otherwise, we're wasting time constantly monitoring it manually or requiring the submitter to email separately defeating the purpose of the system.

I agree it would be very helpful to have a notification for the conduct manager.

Agree. Our Deans need to know that infraction has been submitted. This is extremely important.

This is a big issue for us. Please fix this!  Administrators are busy.  They want a notification and not to have to check all the time to see if something new has appeared.  We have the same issue with official notes.  The only way to get around this is to use No Approval Necessary which completely bypasses the entire system.

Agreed! We'd like this early notification as well.

Agree. It's pointless to spend money on a system that makes you e-mail your administrator anyway. The system is then pointless!
