We would like to be able to assign weights to various attendance categories.    For example, a student who is a little tardy to class would get half a point.  A student who is late to sports would get 1 point.  A student who misses a sports game would get two points.  And a student who skips class would get 1 point.  Teachers currently select a category of "0.5 Pts - Late", "1 Pt - Late Sports", "2 Pts - Late Game" and so on.

Then we look at accumulated points for the term.  When student hits 4 points, they serve a weekend restriction and are gated.  When they later hit 7 points for the term they serve another restriction and their conduct level is 'minor'.  If they reach 11 points then they serve another restriction and when they reach 4 they are labeled as on social probation.
