Schools often want to track awards that are not single awards in the way that Deans List is. 

Schools need a way to set up an award category that has optional sub categories. This is extremely helpful for athletic teams and other purposes.  For example, Athletic Award - MVP, Letter won, etc. In particular our school awards each student a character award at the end of the year but each student receives a different type such as Diligent, Honest, Kind, etc. 

We have looked into using the comment to designate the subtype, but the built in report does not include the comment field, and the advanced report does not allow for the transcript year that the award was give to be included.  

Schools need a solution for this.
