Currently, when you add an award for a student, the award is automatically published under that student's Performance tab.
We'd like the option to enter a publish date per each award that we grant a student. In addition, it'd be great to have the option to globally publish/unpublish awards perhaps via a task on the Student and Parent roles. This way we can globally publish or unpublish the Awards if we have an urgent situation where we need to remove them.
I agree with Scott - we would like the ability to suppress the students / parents from seeing the award so that we may enter them prior to the awards ceremony.
We would also like the ability for some awards to show on transcript - not an all or nothing option.
We are in the same situation as Ana - we need to enter the awards to generate a mailing list for parents but don't want the students to know.
We need this functionality for the same reason that Ana suggested. We want to add the award for our students, but don't want them or the parents to see it until after the awards ceremony. However adding the awards to the students ahead of time would allow us to send out notifications more easily.
I definitely agree, It will save a lot of unnecessary phone calls and email messages as well.
I agree with this as well. We tend to keep the awards information a surprise but would like to send invitation to the parents of those students receiving awards without tell them exactly which award their child will be receiving. The ability to add the award as a filter for mailing labels but keep the information hidden until after the award ceremony would be ideal.
I agree with this feature enhancement request as well. We do not want the awards to show on the Progress/Performance tab. The option to publish or unpublish would be great. I also like the idea above about entering a publish date, if we decided to release the info at a later date.
