In order to achieve a quarterly GPA for a system that awards credit at the end of the year, it is necessary to enter extra 'Credits Attempted' due to the limited scope of the GPA Calculation setup. If the second dropdown allowed us to select the 'Alt Weight' or any other (new? credits divided by length?) variable related to a class, then we could achieve our GPA with much less extra leg work.
