Nurses need the ability to print medical contact cards. Merged

We have field trips involving students not in one class or on one team.  Our nurses have always been able to provide printed medical info in the past.

Yes, When a nurse needs to send a student in an ambulance they need a quick way to send all the emergency and insurance info with the medical personnel

I agree with Alicia. In addition it would be nice to be able electronically send these cards to a school trip leader rather than them carrying around hard copies.

This is a really critical feature to make Medical Forms practically useful. Thank you!

Why is this report not available to nurses under "Reports" for bulk printing. In addition filtering capabilities by grade and student would be great.

I think the original idea was the need to print, a-la-carte, one person's Medical Contact Card.  Which I don't see that we can do. But we need. After we batch print at beginning of year, via Class, Team or Activity group, we then need to print a-la-carte as changes come in, all year long. (Hack: pull up all cards from a group, then try to figure out which page the one person is on, print-wise.)

Nancy, Mark: Note that the batch Medical Contact Card is a long html page, but in the print dialog of a browser it puts page break between each student. At least on Mac, with Chrome, that's how it worked.

In any case, some Medical fields are still missing from Medical Contact Card. See this idea, which is really a critical bug.

I want to echo this request. Having a three-page medical form for each student on field trip. Give us a way to make it one page long (with emergency contacts, over the counter medications allowed, prescription medications, allergies, conditions, doctor and dentist information, insurance information). Right now this format is not possible and it is sorely needed by school that take students on trips.

Alicia's comment for this post expresses our needs exactly. We need to print all the information available to the nurse, to be certain it is available if ever the network, computer, or SIS is not.

We also need the option to print one student per page from the teacher roster report instead as many students as will fit per page. This would be helpful in the nurse's report as well.

There need to be a way to be able to print complete medical contact cards with all student allergies / conditions / medications, as we have trips where this is needed. Nurses have access to all this info but cant print the medical contact cards, and teachers havent always been given access by the parent (mainly because the parent has no idea what the implications of not giving access are...)

Previous to using BB our front office staff had the ability to create the medical contact cards, which is the most useful as they are the ones preparing the off-campus trip packages and entering the data, etc.
