We would like the ability to unlock attendance and have it stay unlocked for the remainder of the day so teachers can change attendance at any point if a child comes in tardy after attendance has been taken. Merged

Currently the Attendance Manager has to manually make any changes to attendance if it's been record for a class and then is locked. It would make everyone's lives easier if the teachers were able to just adjust their attendance without involving the Attendance Manager.

    This is really important. I occasionally mark the wrong student absent or tardy and it seems silly that I can not immediately correct it. This is a hassle for the attendance office and I hate that my error causes them and me more work. Now I need to email them my mistake.  To much trouble for something I can easily fix.

    Yes, this would be a big help to us in managing attendance! As it is now, teachers put off entering attendance since they know they won't be able to modify it once it's taken. As a result, they sometimes forget entirely or wait until an hour or two after the period to take attendance, making it really hard for the main office to monitor attendance.
