Report for Percent of Class Attended/Missed

Students who play sports are required to maintain an attendance record avoce a certain percent. From the students onRecord profile, we can see their attendance summary but then a manual calculation is required to determine the percentage and if the student is still eligible.

 

Perhaps it would be helpful to make this report run from the roster of a group so the teacher/coach can quickly run a report for everyone on a team and see who is ineligible.

    A rolling percentage would also be helpful here: Total # of Absences/Tardies So Far / Total # of Class Meetings So Far. Additionally, a trigger to send an email alert when a student breaks through a set threshold.

    We have applied for grants and accreditations that require us to submit our attendance rate for the school for a given period of time (usually for the year).  I am astonished that OnRecord does not seem to be able to fulfull this basic request without massive manipulation of data in an excel sheet.  This is very basic information and should be easily accessible.

    We had this functionality in Blackbaud, but with the move to WH, we lost this ability. There was a Day equivalent in the old system that was used to generate this report. It is a huge loss in functionality to not have the ability to add this.

    We need the % missed (or attended) re: their courses/class schedule for  a specific day . 
     
    So based on their current classes for the semester .... the report would need to calculate how  much of their day (considering our rotation and cycle) they attended ...as each kid has a different class load. 
     
    Ultimate goal is that we need to
    Screen and filter who
    Had absences during the day and see if they met the minimum requirement of attendance for after school participation ( 50% or more class attendance  to participate in extra curricula activities like after school sports and drama etc).
     
    Blackbaud had a very simple
    Report and we could filter for the % equivalent of their day and schedule that they missed with the corresponding codes that showed why they missed.
