Use abbreviated title within the gradebook rather than the long desciptive title.
Teachers use the same long title for several assignments, but use an abbreviaiton to express if it the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd of that sequence. The long titles do not show up completely on the assignment in the grade column.0

Have an ability to list students bu first name or be able to adjust the window size for student name
We have so many kids with the same last name it's hard to see which student we are grading. If you listed by first name or made that column adjustable it would be a great help.1

You should be able to see the submitted date/time in the Gradebook on an ipad, the same as on a computer
