We use the Present Remote category instead of the absent category for students that are gone for athletics or at a school activity. This way the absences wont affect their attendance record. The teachers are having a hard time keeping up with these students since in the gradebook there is no indicator for a student that missed for a school activity because they were not marked absent. We would like to be able to set up our own indicators or at least add PR for present remote to help the teachers know when a student missed their class for a school activity.
