We would like the ability to approve Profile Changes before they take affect similar to the way you can in NetCommunity.
We are using Raisers Edge also and want to be able to have more control over the information being changed in Core so incorrect information isn't then transmitted to Raisers Edge through RE Connect.
This fix would be a TREMENDOUS help to datamanagers! The way Profile Changes works now is not very helpful and terribly cumbersome. Give us a change to approve/edit and properfuly shuttle information into each database!
THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED ASAP. I don't understand why blackbaud is not listening to so many of requesting this option. I want the ability to approve before a profile update take place in the system.
Yes!! Parents and employees are notorious for changing their information incorrectly, and especially entering information in the wrong format. If I "Process" the information, then I have to go back and clean up the family's records. This is also true when processing event registrations, applications, and inquiries (if they are already in the database). The information entered on the form will override the information in the database, and then 99% of the time, the information has to be cleaned up. It would be nice to PROCESS the form with the option to MAKE CHANGES or PROCESS WITHOUT CHANGES - this way the application, event, etc. would show on the record, but the phone number format, address info and format, etc would not be overridden with incorrect information.

100% agree. We will not be moving to OnRecord until this is fixed.
