As part of their leadership requirement, many of our students serve as TAs in a class. Currently, the best way to do this is to add them to the course roster(so they can access group page assignments) and separately enroll them in a "teaching assistant" block, where their final grade and comment will ultimately be housed.

It would be helpful if there were a way for a student to be given viewing access to a course page/roster (and perhaps even submitted assignments from other students) without giving them a teacher role that would give them any kind of access/power outside of one course page. This would enable them to be tied to their target class and allow them to better/more directly support the teacher but avoid giving them privileges that might provide inappropriate access to other classes or personal information for other students.
