Strip leading and trailing spaces on forms

It would be helpful if leading and trailing spaces on fields such as names, preferred name, city/town, state, etc. were stripped so that we would not have to perform data cleanup on those fields on every applicant.

    overall basic data validation functions in applications and other forms would be a very nice function to have, especially since the concept has been around for over 20 years now. It's crucial when it comes to generating usernames and exporting data to import into other systems. I know Blackbaud has a terrible history with not caring about other systems, but all of us users care greatly.
