Unlimited custom fields, like Admin viewable
The ability to create unlimited custom fields, as are available with Admin viewable fields would hugely increase the power of the system for many customers. The ability to add these into application forms and reports/lists is essential.

Request for more customized fields
Merged I would like to have the option to use more than 10 custom user fields for the profile. Preschool has certain fields they want that are very different from our K-8 profiles so I would love to be able to create more user fields.2

More than 10 publishable custom fields

Allow more than 10 custom Fields in the Database.
Merged We understand you don't want unlimited number of custom fields, but 10 is just too limiting. I would suggest increasing the number to 25.1
Related ideas
These unlimited custom fields should allow other data types besides free text, similar to "admin only fields". A user should be able to create a drop-down box with values from the table or a "date" field. There should be an option to create unique and non-unique fields. It would be beneficial to attach a date to these fields, even if it is only available in reports.
Another option is to make Admin-only fields available to other roles besides platform Manager role.
Also be able to control the input and for them all to be open text.

Absolutely. Having this would at least be a band-aid for most of the problems we have with school forms.
I would add that these fields should be usable in every section of the form, not in one specific block.
