I would like the Grade Book to have the ability to categorize assignments into different subject areas and calculate the grade for each subject.

The teachers in my elementary school use one course to teach multiple subjects and grade on those separate subject areas. Right now all of their assignments are in one grade book which makes it difficult to calculate the grade for each subject area. They still have to calculate the grades with their weights by hand and don't use the cumulative average generated by grade book.
