It is overwhelming for many students to see an assignment span for over a week on their Calendar.  This happens when an assignment is created, displaying the assigned date all the way through the due date.  For students that have many overlapping assignments, it takes up unnecessary real estate on the calendar.  If there were an option to ONLY display the due date, this could solve this issue.
