Can we add a feature where teachers can get notifications when an assignment is submitted late? Right now, teachers have to go back into assignments and look through the assignment submissions. There is already some sort of code that exists to flag a late-submitted assignment (it turns red in the assignment submission column.) An e-mail or other notification to the teacher would be extremely helpful. (Even something in the gradebook to note that it was submitted late- changing the color of the "M" perhaps- would be helpful)
This really needs to happen! It would make life so much easier.
Notifcations for assignment submission seems like a basic feature, not something that would be a request. It seems that lots of things are manual with regard to assignments. Manually clicking a "Missing" button, for example, and not having it go away when someone submits an assignment.
I completely agree. I have avoided using assignments because of the lack of notifications.
I agree this would be helpful! Perhaps just like official notes has a notification element, add "assignments" and turn that red with a number when students submit work. That way a teacher immediately sees it, can click on it and see activity.
Done!
Andrew - I agree 100% that this is needed.
I have lobbied for this already in another idea; I'll trade a vote for vote and hopefully this will land on the radar of the Blackbaud team :)
