When students fail to take an assessment online we enter a zero and tag it as missing. This prompts the student to make up work quicker than just tagging it missing. However, even though we extend # of days it will not allow the student to retake the assessment until the zero is removed.

Could this aspect of the system be eliminated? If a teachers allows for an extension it will show the TAKE button regardless of the zero in the gradebook. A teacher would still have to commit it to the gradebook but once down it would replace the zero.
