Ability to make an assignment a completion grade

Adding the ability to creating an assignment that is either complete or incomplete would be very useful when it comes to certain types of assignments. While using a 0 or 1 system and not adding it to the cumulative total is a work around, it would be nice if there was a way to create completion assignments in the grade book and mark them with a check for complete and x for incomplete.

    Tracking a number of similar requests dating back to 2015. Please consider adding a "completed" or "turned in" mark that teachers can apply to an assignment prior to grading, allowing the status to change in the student view without the student having to interact directly with the system.

    We are using the same work around, I am not confident it will work in the end though. Would love to see this feature implemented.
