Ability to Hide Assignment Due Time

We do not have a standard time when assignments are due as they are due at the start of class which rotates based on the day. Our Middle and Upper School students are confused by the assignment due time if a teacher does not take the time to enter a time (which can be challenging as you have to figure what time your class meets on the day that the assignment is due. We would like to be able to hide that field in the Assignment Center.,

    Hi Folks -

    I'm marking this idea as implemented, although it's not implemented in the exact way described. Instead of hiding the due time completely, teachers can now more easily configure the due time to be based on the schedule of the class itself. So, if the teacher wants the due time to be at the start or end of the class, they can configure a relative due time that will look at the class's schedule.

    The feature is able to be configured on a teacher-by-teacher basis and is housed within the Preferences feature. Teachers can access this from the Assignment Center or their Gradebooks. I will note that this only impacts the new, quick assignments. The legacy version of assignments does not support this update.
