messaging parent and child

I would like to have the ability to send messages to students and parents at the same time from the course pages. Currently Teachers can send messages to individual students or all students. In order to send messages to a student and their parents they have to send a email separately for the parent.

    We moved from Quickschools to Blackbaud. It was so easy in quickschools to message parents of a student, because in Messaging, there was a field "To Parents of" and you could write the name of the student. Unlike Blackbaud, where we have to visit the students profile, look for their parents in the contact card and then click message on it. or copy email addresses.
