If a student has an athletic pre-excused absence halfway through a course, but is late to that course, there is currently no simple means by which to mark them as tardy. Only an attendance manager can change the pre-excused absence, and due to the single block, a new attendance type would have to be made to represent both statuses: 'tardy to course with pre-excused absence' or similar.
