Ability to hide the alternate course drop down in Course Requests

We have no use for this feature and it confuses our parents. It would be useful if a course could be requested as an alternate for an entire category (e.g. Arts electives), but it is too constraining when tied to a particular arts elective.

    I agree that it would be very helpful if we could "tun off" alternate course option when making course requests.

    It would be helpful if there were a setting to "turn off" the alternate course dropdown.

    Can we hide alternates in course requests once they are approved for parents and students.
