Grade Book Manager Clone Restrictions

We would like to be able to restrict Grade Book Managers and Grade Book Reviewers (a Clone of Grade Book Manager) to only be able to view the grades in their own departments. For example, if someone is a grade book reviewer, we only want her to be able to view the Grade books for her own department. Right now the Grade Book Manager role can be filtered on school level, but we would like to be able to filter on Department too.

    Hi All,

    We have carved out time on the 2018 Roadmap to make updates to the Admin experience of Gradebook. I'll discuss this idea with the team to see if we may be able to get more granular around who has access to manage which gradebooks.

    Agreed... this is very needed... giving them edit rights as the only option is dangerous, if even for accidental clicks...

    Yes, we need the Department Head to be able to view the grade book of teachers in that specific department.
