Report Card Builder Attendance Summary Columns

The new Report Card Builder Attendance columns tally the attendance for that year as of today's date and not the date specified in the School Year setup for that grade plan (like on the old report card builder). Therefore, if I run a 2018-2019 Quarter 3 report card today when it is now 2019-2020, the Quarter 3 attendance is actually the attendance for the year and not as of that report card (or marking period).

I can create columns for each semester, but the Quarter 1 and Quarter 3 report cards (and the Quarter 1-4 progress reports) would still show the full value as of date run.

It is important to know how many absences a child has had at the time of the report was written.

Can we get an update as to when this will be addressed? I'm trying to embrace the new report card builder, but I may continue using the old one if this is not fixed.

I agree.   It also difficult to see if a student's attendance record has improve from one semester to the next.

Yes, it is inappropriate to pull a S1 report at the end of the year or in a later year and see the full year's attendance ...

I agree completely.  It's confusing to pull a Q1 report card and have it show Q1-Q4 attendance.
