There should be a mechanism for mistakes to be corrected that don't involve completely removing all data from attendance etc. if a calendar wasn't set up right. Even if its just removing attendance from the one day the error occurs, or even better, having a mechanism to export then delete the attendance and correct the daily calendar at the same time, and then re-import or re-enter the data.
