Option to apply select weights to certain students

Currently, each course can only have one weight. So if the AP courses have more weight and some students are taking the same course but are not supposed to receive that weight, this currently, would require a new course. I would like to have the option to adjust the weight that is assigned to the student for the course either when enrolling the student or when the teacher is recording grades.

    This function would also be essential to our school as our grading policy is that students enrolled in an AP course earn the extra point only if they receive a grade of C- or higher.  The way the system is now we can;t apply this policy,  as a result potentially a student that earns an F will get an extra point on their GPA, when they shouldn't.  Gladly we don't have too many of these cases, but when we do, it would be great to be able to modify their grading for just these students.
