When two attendance occurrences are recorded, i.e. a family vacation, then a sports absence is recorded within the same timeframe, the most recent attendance will take precedence over what is recorded. It would ideal for there to be an option (like there is in EE) to choose to override existing entries or not. Otherwise an attendance manager will have to run the Pre-Excused Absences report before recording those attendances, just to be sure we won’t cancel out those previously entered instances. This is a time consuming step that could easily be overlooked or not done and thereby attendance will not be clean.
