Email Families When Bank Validation Fails

Parents enter their banking information for setting up the autopay feature. Your system asks for bank account number first, and most systems ask for routing number first. Parents transpose banking numbers and the pre-note validation process fails, but the parents are unaware that their bank account information entered was incorrect. It creates a ton of work on the back end as parents have no idea things were rejected.

    If a bank account fails NCHA validation an email is sent from customerservicemessages@blackbaud.school with the subject of “Bank Account Update For School Name Has Failed Validation”

    You can also set up the Failed Bank Validation Account report to be sent to you upon activity to follow up with the families as well.
