Distinguish Between Absent When Assigned and Absent When Due
It would be nice to distinguish in the grade book when a student was absent when the assignment was assigned vs. absent when the student was due instead of the same symbol for both.3

Allow separate due dates for grades and comments
Currently grades and comments are due from teachers at the same time. We would like to be able to adjust to make grades due first, and allow extra time for comments.1

Allow the ability to set up grade book related email notifications to students, parents, advisers. For example, notify parent when student's grade average drops below a certain threshold.3

Can we make it a default that students see their grades on My Day > Progress?
When students click on Progress under My Day, they have an option to show or hide their grades. We would like the grades to show be default.2

Gradebook access across marking periods
The Gradebook access settings are set per marking period, but this is not obvious when in that settings page. Perhaps it could work like the Calculations page which shows all marking periods on the same page.0

Department Chairs to have Access to Department Members Gradebooks
It would be helpful for heads of departments to be able to access their fellow department members grade books, to monitor consistency for our team teaching. They don't need to be Grading Managers.6

Give coaches access to their students' grade books
We would like to give coaches the ability to see their players' grade books, so that they can make sure that their players are keeping their grades up.
