Currently, we have maiden names on file for our teachers for Core employment records and other business processes. However, this maiden name shows in parentheses behind the teacher's name in "messages" and other areas. Teachers are not happy that every message to parents and student shows their maiden name. Even when the teacher de-selects the maiden name field in their profile privacy settings for the parent and student roles, it continues to show. Support indicates that the maiden name is hard coded into the system and cannot be hidden.
