The attendance reports in Academics > Reports all summarize attendance by day and/or by excuse type. None summarizes by course (i.e. for how many sessions of English or Math has a particular student been absent or late).

Within each Group page, the teacher can pull a helpful summary from Roster > Run Roster/Student Reports > Attendance History - By Section. But as an administrator interested in a particular student, I would have to go and pull this report from within each separate Group page to get a summary of how many sessions of each of his/her classes for which he/she has been absent or late. Or I would have to pull one of the available reports by day or excuse type and add up absences/tardies for each section myself. 

There should be an Academics report that can summarize each student's attendance by course.
