Charges with a due date in the future past the statement dates should not be included in the balance due

If a charge is added to the student account with a due date much further in the future it is confusing for the parents to have it appear on the statement as an amount due. We have a situation where we allow an extension for some payments up to a few months.

    Agreed. Also, charges with the transaction date within the current statement period but due in the future should not be included in the amount due. For example, current statement period is December 2022, today is December 9, 2022, a charge is dated December 15, 2022 and due January 31, 2023. This charge shows up under Current bill for parents to view and is included in the amount due on the December statement.
