We have some official notes that we only use at specific times of the year, and it would be great if we could mark them as inactive or archived at other times so that they are not deleted completely, but could be removed from the dropdown list when they are not being used. Thank you!
I wish there was a way to archive/hide the templates we only use during certain times of the year from showing up in the list of templates. Even though they do not show up as an option when they are archived, they still appear in a VERY long list of official note templates.
Thanks Kathleen - I don't know why I didn't think of that earlier. I've used that to make them appear in the dropdown, so it would stand to reason that you could do it in reverse! I appreciate you mentioning it!
I use Official Notes in Enrollment Management and have tons of templates but only some are active at any one time. You can mark Official Notes as active/inactive in your drop down menu - look at the bottom of the screen under Note Types. Find the type and click on Settings and choose which templates you want to mark as active. See the screenshot attached.
