It would be beneficial for admins to be able to run a report to determine the parent or other users log-in methods with BBID whether the constituent has chosen:
Log in with Apple
Log in with Google
or the Standard Email and Password Log in.
Knowing this information would be beneficial since we cannot reset Parent Passwords, and so knowing how the account was created to log in would further assist with troubleshooting.
Solution admins should be able to see each user's authentication status from the Core > user Profile > Access tab > Log in Information tile.
Especially vital for admins to have access to this information, since we keep finding ourselves stuck between a rock and a hard place when dealing with families with BBID sign-in issues. Our experience thus far has been that support isn't able to reset BBIDs in any way, or to give us meaningful information about them. Being able to see the sign-in method would be a huge leg up for us. ("Oh, I see that you're signing in with your Gmail address, but you need to click the Sign in with Email.")
I agree this would be super helpful for us. Jessica, following your steps, I'm still not seeing this level of granularity with the authentication options. Can you share more about where we can already see this data today?
Awesome idea - we could really use this to help manage our users and assist them with BBID issues.
Thank you for keeping this open!
Hi all! I realize now that this idea is for a LIST of users with authentication status. This is not implemented, so I'm moving the Idea status back a step. Thanks for your votes; this is actively under consideration.
Users trying to view the login method or authentication details for a user must have access to view the list of users from blackbaud.com>Education>Control panel>Security - Users and Roles. This access is available to Organization admins and Environment admins
