Create holding queue for contract that require 2 signatures when only 1 is completed

Good Morning,

There are a number of schools who require 2 signatures for a contract to be considered complete. If a contract only has one signature, the schools do not consider the student fully enrolled for the new year . The issue here is that when a school is integrated with Tuition Management (Smart) the account gets created in the new academic year instantly. If there is no payment needed the accounts ends up in Pending , but when there is a payment, the payment is processed instantly, and the account is automatically created in Tuition Management .

When this occurs, the payers are billed, and do pay, but based on school logic, the student may or may not be getting counted in active enrollment numbers, as there is a signature missing in EM.

The suggestion here is , to create a toggle button that can be enabled as needed, by contract type to put contracts into some sort of holding queue, and only pushed to Tuition Management once the second signature is completed.

In Tuition Management- when a family enrolls in error a second time, or creates a new account for second student, those accounts end in a folder call "Fix" where they sit, including delaying processing of the payment until an Admin pushes the accounts to active. Wondering if a similar process can be built into Enrollment Management as well.

Thank you

Mike Z

If you cannot because of PCI Compliance, can you set it up in a way that the 2nd signer is the one submitting the billing information?

Hi Michael, due to PCI compliance we cannot retain billing information, and Tuition Management must create an account if payment has been collected. Therefore, we cannot prevent the information from being sent over as we have no way to retain the information needed to create an account in TM and TM needs to create accounts immediately if a payment has been submitted.

    Thank you,

    Sarah
