Hide link to report card when a student has no applicable grades or comments

We publish interim report cards midway through our quarters. Only some students get them based on their performance. On the Old report card builder, students who didn't receive any interim comments wouldn't even see a link to the interim report card: it was a quick indicator that everything is okay! On the New report card builder, everyone sees the report card link regardless of whether they received any applicable grades or comments. So students and parents have to click the report card only to see that it's empty.

Yes. We also have some reports that only go to certain students (e.g. new students in October) but all parents see that report in the list even though for most it is blank. We also now need to use the Old report card builder to get around this problem. Support said this is related to the New builder allowing you to "preview" a blank report when you are setting them up, but wouldn't a simple backend filter in the area where the links are take care of this?

Only a handful of students take a course in the summer. I had to use the old report card builder so that a summer report card would not appear on ALL the students accounts.

Yes yes... Look at this screenshot. This student is an INCOMING STUDENT for 2nd grade and has  a report card and multiple transcripts (for Middle & Upper School) listed in their Academic Profile. This is not only confusing to users, but really clutters up the system
